I love Chai Tea so much that I could think of nothing better than rubbing it all over my body, so I have created a socially acceptable way of doing this with my Chai Tea Sugar Scrub. With all natural ingredients, it's good enough to eat!
This recipe will make enough for approximately 6 small jars-worth of scrub.
You Will Need:
2 cups Brown Sugar
2 cups Raw Sugar
1 cup Coconut Oil (you may use less if you prefer the texture)
1/4 cup Ground Cinnamon
1 or 2 tsp vanilla extract
A handful of Cardamom Pods
A handful of Star Anise
1. Combine sugars in a large bowl. Add the coconut oil in several stages until you reach a consistency that you like. Then add the cinnamon and vanilla extract and make sure they are well mixed through.
2. Spoon the mixture into small jars before popping 2 or 3 cardamom pods in each and pushing down into the scrub. Then add 2 star anise to each jar - pushing one into the scrub ad sitting the other on top for decoration.
3. This scrub is perfect for scrubbing away those scaly elbows and knees and the coconut oil will leave your skin feeling wonderfully moisturised!
